It`s been a while, since I don`t count days anymore. Well... actually I don`t count anything. Somehow it turned out that I hate numbers.

I just live. I live here. 

And I don`t want to go home. 

Now the days here start to get some shape. I know my responsibilites, schedule, environment, people. It makes my staying here much better, cause I know, what can I expect from every single situation. At this moment I`m not a girl from Latvia, Riga, Talsi or Dundaga. I`m a girl from Balikesir. Even, if I`m quite blond and strange enough to catch the eyes of every single person passing me by - this is my home, this is my place. 

I am in to the rhytm of Turkey and I like it. I love the days here - filled by sun, I love the rush on the streets, I enjoy the nights, which never gets totally dark...

And even if I have to convince myself again and again about my staying, I don`t regret a single second here. And, dear friends - it will  be not that easy to get me away from Turkey :D. So be prepared. I may need a long-term host after my evs.

And yeah - it is AWESOME. I mean - reallly AWESOME. Even if the start complect for phone sim card costs 38 lira, even if the kindergarden still sucks, even if each month electricity, internet, heating dissapears, even if here you can not find sour cream, even the small peaces of meat costs more than 10 lira. Yes, even then I`m still in love with my life here. 

So, what`s new? 

Actually I know, that my last real post was long, long time ago. I have not described my days in amazing Izmir,  I have not mentioned many suit up parties here, daily life is also missing. But whatever. 

For Christmas I went back to Latvia. The only feeling I had there was - damn. Why I decided to stay for 2 weeks? I want to go back. So, it doesen`t need any more explanations.

New Years night I celebrated in Istanbul. It was the best New Year ever. We were in the flat, which is right next to Bosphorus with a sight to the bridge and sea. I had a great company.. ahh I can not explain, how nice it was, but believe me - it really was :) 

After new year I had to go back to bussiness - kindergarden, office, other activities. More or less they are the same as always. Some new ideas are on the border of realising them, some are still coming to our minds, some are done already.

I started to join theatre lessons - finally I feel that part of me is returning step by step. And I really missed that part. I din`t tought that it will be so hard to express myself again after such a long brake, but it is. But we have a lot of time. And our teacher Cemal is AWESOME. I mean - Vaira was nice, but Cemal....  I`m in love with that 50 year old man :D 

I may have mentioned something about or speaking club before. So the previous one DIED. There was some misunderstanding with the participants, not enough experience and other reasons.

But we didn`t give up, so today we will have the second meeting for our new speaking club. Actually, it is not that easy, as it may seem, cause the levels of english knowledge are so different and it`s hard to find a common exercise, task for all of them at the same time. Actually - I would still call it EXPERIMENT, cause I don`t feel that I`m ready to teach right now. But I promise to try.

This weekend I`m going to Istanbul. And I want to party. I want to dance, have a lot of fun.. And we will. Right, Eliza? :) 

Otherwise there is nothing else to add for now, I guess. Soon Ray and Charley, Jenny, Ana, Kata, Tata are leaving and 1 french volunteer will come instead of them. So we will be just 3 - me, Boris and him. 

But that`s fine :) Problem yok. we will manage somehow...The old parts has to leave to free a place for something new.
