I really don`t remember the time, when I did my last real bicycle trip, it was previous summer in Latvia. But not here in Turkey, I tought that it is something impossible, because of crazy drivers and terrible traffic, but luckily I was wrong.
Today we made something like 40 killometres, I guess. First we went out of the city, to Kir Bahčesi to have a breakfast there. It was a really supprising (in a good way) place for me. When the weather is nice, families are going there to have a breakfast in a nature. They have something like kaffeteria and open buffet, so there are many options to choose everything you want to. We filled our starving bellies, chilled in sun and continued our way.
I`m not that good at topography, but I`m really sure, that we turned on a big way to Bursa. I didn`t counted time or killometres, cause I didn`t cared. I was back on a way, back on a wheels, so I was fine with everything. And you know, every time I went to Istanbul by buss, I was staring through the window to one place, it seemed so attractive for me. I saw a river, some hills and forest and I was dreaming to get there one time. And when the others stopped their bikes and me too, I realised that I`m excatly in that place. I was so happy, happy as hell.
For me it was more than happiness to be back in nature - it`s spring here already and it reminded me Latvia a litttle bit. That place was full of people - everybody was cooking some meat, having picknicks. What a nice Sunday.
And there was a small hill (small for Turkey but big enough for me)... I think it was the higest hill, which I`ve ever climbed by foot :D With the sight tower at the top of it. And it was so warm over there. Sun seriously burned my face and now I look like a small tomatoe, cause my skin is too light for sun of Turkey. ^^
I felt myself so alive again. It`s good, this was excatly what I needed.
When I came home, I fell asleep immediately and now I`m going to bed again, cause there is no more power even to blink my eyes.
Thanks to amazing and awesome people today, I think this was the best Sunday in Turkey for me :)
